How do they Help Australians?

Picture
The Wiggles have been involved in many charity and fund raising events since the Wiggles began.  As well as charity the Wiggles also help younger Australians to learn through song and dance.

Advertising for St Vincent de Paul is just one of them. St Vincent de Paul's or Vinnies is a charity that rasies money for homeless and victims of abuse, they also own stores, where clothing is donated and then sold. The Wiggles appear in a number of television ads promoting purchasing and donating clothes to Vinnie’s Stores.  The Wiggles urge people to donate wear-able second-hand clothing.

The Wiggles have previously raised money for the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation a charity, donating money for children and adults to read, write and think mathematically.   They contributed to the ALNF by realising and CD and DVD titled Wiggle and Learn. The album featured songs contributing to educational and motor skills such as, One Finger One Thumb Keep Moving and D is for Dorothy.

The songs on the Wiggle and Learn album are  not the only  educational songs by the Wiggles. Children and parents have been singing and dancing along to Wiggles songs since the beginning of Wiggles history, all of them having some education purpose. For example Fruit Salad encourages healthy eating, Sorry Again teaches children to apologies for their mistakes.
